Mrs Ambujashy´s renovated house with new tin roof!
From the 'Curry afternoon' at John & Debbie's 1,129 Euros was raised to replace the old banana leaves roof.!! - there was also sufficient sums to help others. Thank you to all who contributed to this wonderful project.

We were so blessed to have Ray Lowe (Biggin Hill Christian Fellowship), www.bhcf.org.uk to lead our teaching on the story of Joseph. Our beautiful

times of were worship were led by Gareth & Aled along with some special moments with Felicity from New Life Church, Gibraltar.

www.newlifegib.com. For the children a 'Kidz Club' was held by Louise, Kym & others. The weekend was a wonderful time of teaching, worship

and fellowship coupled with an idyllic location and excellent food!!. Prior to our Sunday meeting we had the joy and privilege to baptise Carlos,

Christmas Family Service - Dec 2007

Children's Christmas Party - Dec 2007

Our Christmas party this year was with children from the orphanage in Lagos as well as our own children.

It was a wonderful time with a showing of a DVD 'Jungle Story' and a great DVD of various activities of the children

over the year - beautifully put together & mastered by Bebe. The film was followed by a pizzas, fizz and other healthy food!!!

Thank you to all the helpers above who made this such a special time for the children.

It was great to have these 3 over to take a Kidz club on a Saturday morning - involving children from the local orphanage plus other

children from the church family. They also led our time of praise & worship, including a dance by Kym, at our Sunday morning service.

Why? To serve & to serve & to serve!

Where? 1/ at the Lagos children's orphanage - painting anew for one & one half days the common room and having fun and sharing with the children

2/ At the Church with a Praise & Worship evening Saturday night and taking our Sunday morning service - both attended by some of the children

Leader's Conference - Brighton Center - July 2007

11 of us visited the conference again this year. With 53 nations represented, excellent teaching & seminars, powerful times

of worship together made this a wonderfully refreshing time together.

Youth Team from W. Sussex join us for outreach in Lagos

Sam, Ant, Abi & Kim joined us for a week of work amongst the children of Lagos orphanage. Although there was lots of fun they worked

hard serving the community, leading us in a special Sunday family service in the town center where we had the joy of 30+ children, running a Kidz Club

and helping out in the Mums & Tots group. Thank you to you all for the 'sparkle' you brought to us all!!!

Sam writes:-

"I can’t remember a time in my life when I was made to feel as welcome as I did when I was in Lagos. The International Community Church is a God centered, spirit filled family which just happens to be situated in a beautiful seaside town (the beaches will take your breath away!).

There are so many opportunities to put the gifts God has given you to good use and even to develop those areas in which you may not feel as gifted! In my time with the church out there I felt like God had taken me and pushed me and I know that I’ve come home with many new skills and a passion for people I had never had the opportunity to work with before.

I have come home really feeling like my time out there had had an impact on many lives, especially my own. I really can’t wait to go back!"

Churches together for Pentecost

Five churches ministering to the English speaking population within the Algarve came together for Pentecost Praise on Pentecost Saturday at The International Evangelical Church, Vale Judeu.

Over 150 people filled the church for the 1st Pentecost Praise organised by All Saints Anglican Church. The All Saints Music Group lead the worship and their priest, The Rev’d Eric Britt sensitively linked everything together. Members of all the churches represented took part with prayers, readings and meditations, whilst the ministers were available to pray for people for a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit.
